SharingProperty is the UK's first one-stop sharing website that not only lists houses, but so much more besides! It enables you to find other co-buyers to buy those luxury items you have always dreamed about such as a boat, holiday home or fast car! It also aims to do simple things such as help you find a person to share the rent with. The overall aim of the site is to put you in touch with people all over the UK that want to share!
The concept of the site started to come to life in December 2005 when we saw a TV programme called 'Would You Buy With a Stranger?'. With forever increasing property prices in almost every area of the UK, housing is the ideal market to share between people and already has a successful track record.
But why stop there? We all want things we can't afford! Other types of expensive property could also be successfully shared by a number of people. We felt the internet was the perfect way to bring these like minded people together, but there was nowhere specific for this purpose, or for them to meet. SharingProperty aims to be this place. Use your imagination for what you want to share – if you've had the idea, chances are someone else has too.
