How do I join?

Registering couldn't be simpler and it's totally FREE! Simply enter your email address and choose a password and a confirmation email will be sent straight back to you. This makes you a Basic Member. Don't worry, your email address will be kept completely secret and will never appear to other members, as all contact happens via our anonymous email system. Once you have registered as a Basic Member you can add your Sharing Profile for free and start searching for people wanting to co-share different types of property. Once you have completed your Sharing Profile, other members will be able to find you.

Is it safe?

Yes, finding people via SharingProperty is probably the safest form of meeting your potential property partner. You never have to give any personal details (such as your real email address, telephone number or home address) to anyone unless you wish to do so. Our email system is anonymous, so even if you have contacted a member, they will respond via the website, and will not be given access to your personal email that you have provided to SharingProperty.

For added safety follow these simple rules:

1. Never give your home address, personal email address or home telephone number to a stranger.
2. Always arrange to meet in a very public place, i.e. a Pub or Restaurant. Never invite a stranger to your home.
3. Take someone with you when meeting for the first time. This is not a date!
4. If this is not possible, always tell someone else where you are going and approximately what time you will be back home.
5. Above all use your common sense, if you are unsure about meeting someone then don't do it, your instincts are usually right.
6. Don't accept a lift home from your co-buyer after your first meeting, even if you think it has gone well.

Does it cost anything to join?

You can register as a Basic Member and add your Sharing Profile for FREE! This entitles you to full use of the 'Advanced Search' function which allows you to target your search for your ideal property partner! When you decide you want to contact another member will you need to upgrade to the subscription service, to become a Subscribed Member.

As Subscribed Member you will then be able to send unlimited messages to as many other members as you wish, and read received messages from other Subscribed Members. For a limited period only, all people registering will automatically receive a FREE 3 month upgrade to Subscribed Member.
