How do I search for a property sharer?
When you perform a search of Sharing Profiles, you are specifying what types of members you want to contact. We have different kinds of searches available:
- Quick search: The fastest way to see who's available based on the type of property (i.e. a house or car), and geographic location.
- Advanced search: Target your results by specifying additional personal details (have kids or pets?), narrower geographic locations, price ranges, and property details.
Can I still search the site even if I haven't registered?
Of course, please feel free to do as many searches as you wish. However, you can not view a members' Sharing Profile or make contact with them until you have registered. This will allow you to view Sharing Profiles, and you.ll be able to use the 'Advanced Search' function, which allows you to target your search for your ideal property partner. To contact another Member, you will have to upgrade to a Subscribed Member.
What is the difference between searching and matching?
Searching is done by you, and involves looking through Sharing Profiles for a member with the same property type, a suitable location and a profile you think you like the sound of. You can choose your own potential co-buying matches and contact them if you are a Subscribed Member. In addition, matching is done by us at SharingProperty, as we review new Sharing Profiles, and we match you with other members based on what you both have told us you're looking for. If you have opted to receive weekly email alerts, as part of the Subscribed Member service, we will inform you of these matches.
